Ever had a situation where your design is different in WebKit browsers (Safari, Chrome) and looks fine in other browers?

A while back we were working on a client's site and one element looked perfect on almost all browsers but had different properties in WebKit browers. Our simple fix was to target WebKit-based browers with a simple media query.

You have two options to implement this CSS "hack":

  1. Within the <head> add a specific webkit css stylesheet and place all your WebKit specific rules inside.

    webkit-link

  2. Or if you rather place the WebKit specific css rules in your existing stylesheet you can embed the rules directly
